Stake.com Hacked for $41 Million πŸ’»

Stake.com Hacked for $41 MillionLeading crypto casino Stake.com has been a target of a crypto hack which resulted in a total loss around $41 million. The heist forced Stake to briefly suspend all deposits and withdrawals, which has now been resumed.

The hack has been discovered first by the crypto security firm Cyvers, as they detected irregular transactions with Stake.com’s hot wallet. The firm reported that the stolen funds have been converted to Ether (ETH) and transferred to multiple wallets. The hack seems to have spanned few hours, during which the hackers managed to transfer millions in fragments.

What did Stake say?

Stake.com has posted on their X account, confirming the hack while assuring its customers that their crypto funds are safe:

As well as being the main sponsor of Everton Football Club, earlier this year Stake has announced a multi-year partnership with the Alfa Romeo F1 Team, cementing its position on Formula 1.
